I bought the spray to combine with the balm to help me sleep. The smell is perfect, not overwhelming just quite subtle. Just a couple of sprays is enough. You can feel the spray on your pillow, but it doesn't seem to mark the material. I do feel like combined with the sleep balm my sleep is a little more restful. Love this product
