Q: Can you tell us a bit about your son's experience with eczema and how it has impacted his daily life?
Kit has experienced eczema only since moving back to the UK. He did not have eczema when we were living in the US. Eczema affects Kit during the summer mainly. It flares up and calms down intermittently. We are still not sure the basis of his allergy and we still need to find out if it's an allergy to grass here in the UK or a reaction to laundry detergent, diet or something else. When Kit gets eczema it affects his confidence quite a bit. He feels uncomfortable and a bit self-conscious which as a teenager is not ideal.
Q: How did you come across Healing Alternatives' Eczema Cream?
We came across Healing Alternatives Eczema Cream at the Cumnor House Sussex Christmas fair.
Q: What was your initial impression of the Eczema Cream when you first used it?
Kit had a really great experience. He found immediate relief which was wonderful to see. Kit was using steroid cream but Healing Alternatives provided a less instant relief, but it worked gradually and Kit experienced his skin as being less inflamed and sore looking. His skin looked more hydrated and much less irritated.
Q: Can you describe the changes you observed in your son's skin condition after using the cream?
His skin appeared less inflamed and red. His skin seemed like it was more hydrated and less irritated. It had a smoother, less angry looking complexion.
Q: Why do you believe CBD is effective in treating skin conditions like eczema?
I know that CBD can help as an anti inflammatory, to reduce the symptoms of eczema and in this case, it really worked.
Q: Can you share any tips or advice for other parents dealing with children who have eczema?
I think it is worth exploring what causes your child’s eczema. It could be dietary or something else. It is worth doing a full allergy test to try to understand the root cause of eczema.
Q: What makes you passionate about CBD and its therapeutic benefits?
I truly believe in CBD as having a strong plant based capacity for healing, being anti-inflammatory to help minimize the itchy, irritated skin that comes with eczema. Also using steroid creams have negative side effects so they cannot be used as a long term solution.
Q: Would you recommend Healing Alternatives' Eczema Cream to other parents? If so, why?
Yes I would fully recommend Healing Alternatives. Healing Alternatives has really provided a wonderful alternative to medical steroid creams, that work in the short term but cannot be used as a long term solution. Healing Alternatives Eczema Cream is both soothing but provides a therapeutic alternative to more medical alternatives.
