Our story

Welcome to Healing Alternatives, I'm Veronica, one of the founders and this is our story:

Healing Alternatives officially launched in November 2019, however, the idea to create a trusted Health and Wellness brand started in 2015 with my husband Rupert, who became interested in natural plant-based medicines with a particular focus on Cannabis derived compounds. It was only when my father became ill with Parkinson’s and Dementia that I could see first-hand the benefits of CBD that I decided to join the team full time.

We were joined by our good friend Patrick German. My husband and I with the help of another good friend Camilla Nightingale head up Healing Alternatives assisted by an army of incredibly talented people.

We strive to provide our customers with products that we would want to buy ourselves, that are transformative and offer good value.

We believe that each of us is born with an innate ability to heal ourselves. It is this belief that drives us to develop products to aid this process. CBD extracted from organically grown hemp is currently our cornerstone ingredient, however, it is only one of the many plant-based compounds we work with day to day when developing our products. We are on a journey to empower ourselves and others to live their best lives.

2022 saw the launch of our new website and product ranges. We developed a new Sleep range, a new Home range and improved our existing product lines.  We currently offer an array of over 30 amazing beauty and wellness products in Six collections. They are Sleep, Body, Bath, Face and Home and we are currently finalising our new and improved CBD Oil range. 

As Healing Alternatives continues to be discovered our products have been featured in The Guardian,Top Santé, Eliza, Homes & Interiors Scotland, Surrey Homes and Kelly Eastwood's @thelondonchatter, Jodie Kidds and Lisa Faulkner's gift guides for The Glorious Edit.

We have also had some of products recognised by the industry. Our Cleansing Milk was voted best CBD Skincare product for sensitive skin by the Independent's Indy/Best team, our Sleep Easy Bath Salts were finalists in the Get the Gloss awards and H:A was shortlisted at the U.K. Wellness Awards for Best Natural Beauty Brand.

At Healing Alternatives we value transparency, clarity and honesty in everything we do.This is demonstrated by the clear information on our labelling and website regarding concentration levels and the specific effects of CBD. All our CBD batches are tested by a third-party lab and the results are available on our website.
